Southlanders Learning Zone in Adur

Courtesy of the LSC capital funding, Southlanders Community Café in Adur have now developed 'THE SITE' project.  This is a fully mobile IT unit with five laptops available, loaded with Microsoft Vista and including the internet.  All that is required is one electrical socket!  The unit can be taken anywhere and a variety of learning opportunities can be undertaken such as:

  • Finding out how to use a computer
  • Surf the internet and find out what it can do for you
  • Set up an email account
  • Send an email
  • Use a digital camera and be able to download
  • Write letters
